Mrs. Yoshiko Black, 88 years, widow of Norman Black, (deceased 1997), passed away Sunday morning, June 2, 2019, at Valley Falls Terrace Skilled Nursing Facility in Boiling Springs. Mrs. Black was born on March 20, 1931, in Japan. She met and married her husband, Norman, while he was stationed in Japan and thereafter moved stateside. Mrs. Black was a homemaker her adult life.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne Marie and Ken Henderson of Boiling Springs, Grandsons and wives, Timothy Treadwell, Jr and Christen as well as Christopher and Cascie Treadwell, all of Boiling Springs. She also leaves two great grandsons, Riley and Brently Treadwell residing in Boiling Springs.
At the request of the family, private services will be held. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest directly next to her husband, Norman.
