David Werner Lamb, 78, widower of Linda Smith Lamb, formerly of Chesnee, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home.

Born September 19, 1944 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Buford Lamb and Jesse Ezell Lamb. Werner was a self-employed Master Drywall Installer where he took great pride in the work he did for so many and was a member of New Vision Baptist Church.

Surviving are his daughters, Amanda Buckner (Craig) of Rutherfordton, Andrea Roach (David) of Rutherfordton, Angela Collins (Andy) of Greeneville, TN.; sister, Debbie Robbins of Mayo. Also surviving is Werner’s grandchildren, one of his greatest joys, Cole Buckner, Savannah Roach (Riley), Alana Collins (Isaac), Garrett Buckner, Avery Collins, Sheldon Roach and Ansley Collins.

A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Larry Fleming and Rev. David Holder officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
