Wade Samuel Matthews, 84, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his home.
Born July 17, 1938 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Broadus Matthews and Annie Mae Arledge Matthews and was retired for J.L. Belue and Sons.
Surviving are his daughters, Doris Belue of Spartanburg, Wanda Robinson of Spartanburg; son; Dennis Matthews and wife Joy of Inman; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Good Shephard Memorial Park with Reverend Ricky Lemmons officiating.
The family is at the home, 652 Casey Creek Road, Chesnee, SC 29323.
