Violet Elaine Jennings, 75, of Spartanburg SC passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023.

She was born in Spartanburg on November 21, 1947 to Ruth and Leonard Troxell, married the love of her life, Johnny Jennings in 1965.  

She was predeceased in death by sister Geraldene McAbee and a brother Gene Troxell and is survived by her husband Johnny Jennings, sister Earlene Bailey, and brother Doug Troxell, daughter Laura Netherton (Eddie), son Mark Jennings (Tracie),  and son Jerry Jennings. 

Elaine was an avid lover of hot air ballooning and loved her grandchildren Kristie Satterfield, Tyler Jennings, and Ben Netherton, great grandchildren Violet Satterfield, Evie Satterfield, Jace Jennings, and Jordy Jennings. She will be greatly missed. 

Burial services Will be held Wednesday November 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd. Spartanburg, SC 29307
