Anna Vernelle “Ma” Kendrick, 88, widow of Daniel Hoyle Kendrick went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Mountainview Nursing Home.
Born December 6, 1933 in Mayo, SC., she was a daughter of the late James H. Cash and Eula Cash. She was a homemaker and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Mayo.
Surviving is her daughter, Carol Osborne (Blake Lowe) of Mayo; sons, Michael Kendrick and Phillip Kendrick and wife Barbara all of Mayo; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a sisters Juanita Williams, Sue Ledford and brothers, James Cash, John Cash and Defoy Cash.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Mayo. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Larry Fleming and Rev. Tyler Estes officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Mayo, 190 Mayo Road Cowpens, SC 29330 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 S Pine St, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
