Vera Mae Hood, 61, widow of Donald Eugene Hood, passed away, Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born May 14, 1963 in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy Swaney.

Surviving are her sons, David Hood (Carolyn) of Woodruff, Matthew Hood of Inman; daughter, Maggie Hood of Inman; sisters, Lottie, Brenda, Judy, Frieda, Louise, Sue, Margie; brother, William; sister-in-law, Becki Hood of Chesnee; grandchildren, Riley, Logan and Noah.

No formal services will be held at this time.

Family members are at their respective homes.
