Vera Ivey Deaton

Vera Ivey Deaton, 100 years, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019, at Magnolia Manor of Spartanburg. She was born on November 21, 1919, in Union County, to the late James Russell and Vera Harvey Ivey. She was a lifelong resident of Spartanburg and was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. In her working years, Vera was a child care provider. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law< Jerry and Ella of Spartanburg, Granddaughter, Lori Rothenburg of Spartanburg, 2 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Monday morning, December 30th, 11:00 o'clock am, in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Larry Holland officiating.
