Timothy Wayne Blackwell, 61 years, passed away the afternoon of Monday, September 13, 2021, at home in Cowpens. He was born on June 20, 1960, in Spartanburg, to the late Grady Blackwell and Ruth Elizabeth Bishop Cantrell, and was a lifelong resident of the county. Mr. Blackwell was a home builder by profession.

Survivors include his mother; Ruth E. Cantrell (Bruce) of Cowpens, children; Jeremiah Blackwell, Joshua Blackwell (deceased) Samantha Blackwell and Amanda (Blackwell) Trhlin, siblings; Clifford Landers, Teresa Landers, Bruce Cantrell, Jr. Scott Blackwell, Lisa Blackwell and Christine Anglin (deceased). There are 4 grandchildren; Skyler Jean, Dauntae Brown-Blackwell, Frankie Trhlin and Everlie Trhlin. He was formerly married to the late Sandra Green Blackwell for 30 years. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews. He had resided the past 10 years in the State of Maine.
