Thomas Edward Turner Sr. 84, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center, Mary Black Campus.

Born April 22, 1938 in Converse, SC., he was a son of the late Frank Turner and Virginia Croxdale Turner. Mr. Turner was employed with Norfolk Southern Railroad for 35 years and proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving is his wife, Judy; son, Butch Turner (Kelly); daughters, Angie Hensley, Tori Turner; brothers, Dennis Turner (Beverly), Steve Turner; sister, Rachel Hopper; grandchildren, Thomas Turner III, Jessica Helms (Zack), Vance Hensley, Johnathan Hensley; numerous great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Deborah Willingham (Tim), Amanda Chitwood; step-grandchildren, Chelsea Zimmerman, Crystal Beasley, Austin Chitwood; aunt, Betty Stevens and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Pat.

A memorial service with military honors will be at 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2022 in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. The family will receive friends following the service.
