MAYO, SC: Susan Turner Wright ,62, of Mayo, SC went to be with Jesus on April 1, 2021 from complications from MRSA and Covid at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Susan is the wife of David Wright and the daughter of the late Roy O. And Hilda Turner. She is survived by a special daughter, Jessica Wright of the home and sisters Merenda Wilson of Mayo and Madena Turner of Greenville. Also, niece Ginna Turner of Greenwood and nephews Michael (Marji) and Richard Holder of New Mexico, sister-in-law Jeannie (Gary) Gibbs of Inman, SC and brother-in-law Larry (Rhonda) Wright of Timberlake, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by brothers Roy “Buddy” Turner and Royce Turner.

Susan was a graduate of Chesnee High School and Spartanburg Community College and attended Spartanburg Methodist College and retired from Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Susan was a member of First Baptist Church of Mayo.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Larry Fleming officiating.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family request that mask be worn and social distancing be observed.
