Steven Joshua "Josh" King, 34 Years old, sadly passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Josh was born on July 27, 1990, to Steven Roger King and Carrie Lee Hayward King. graduated high school and from there attended Central Michigan State University, where he was active in a fraternity as well as the marching band. In his professional life locally, Josh had been a lead bartender at the Dray Bar & Grill for four years and proceeded to work at Cribb's downtown Spartanburg. He had aspirations of returning to the University of South Carolina where he wished to major in marine biology. Josh was full of life, never met a stranger and lived his short life to the fullest.

Survivors include his parents, Steven Roger and Carrie Lee King of Cartersville, Georgia, brother, Bennett (Sara) King of Kingston, Georgia, sister, Alicia King of Cartersville, Georgia, two nephews, Jacen King of Kingston, Georgia and Oberon Davis of Cartersville, Georgia, niece, Jessalynn King of Kingston, Georgia, his "bestie" Bee Etheridge of Boiling Springs, South Carolina and his local "adopted Dad" Steven J Nadeau of Chesnee, South Carolina.

The family invites friends for visitation on Friday, November 1, 2024, 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:00 pm, in the mortuary chapel. Inurnment will be private.

There will be a joint reception hosted by the owners of Dray Bar & Grill, Cribbs Kitchen and Fr8yard on Sunday, November 3, 2024, 6:00 pm, at the Dray Bar & Grill.
