Shirley S. Ezell Chesnee, SC Shirley S Ezell, 77, widow of Robert L. Ezell, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at The Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC. Born August 26, 1940 in Wilkes County, NC. She was a daughter of the late Howard Simpson and Cordie Anderson Simpson. Mrs. Ezell was a retired hairdresser and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a daughter, Cathy Owens of Pacolet; son, Ricky Ezell and wife Cathy of Chesnee; grandchildren, Robbie Owens, Casey Burns, Nikki Mosier and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Vicki Ezell. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Preston Edmonds officiating. Burial will follow in Arrowwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the mortuary.
