Sandra Lois “Sandy” Bridges, 70, widow of George Donald Bridges, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, August 14, 2023 at her home.

Born July 19, 1953 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Howard Shehan and Lois Pruitt Snyder. In her working years she worked in banking having worked for several local banks and was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving is her sons Brent Bridges and wife Jasmin, Scotty Bridges and wife Tina all of Cowpens, daughter; Robin Patterson and husband Pat of Travelers Rest; sister, Linda McGee of Woodbridge, VA., grandchildren; Sierra Davis, Brooklyn Bridges, Brianna Bridges, Blake Bridges, Brett Bridges and Vernon Murphy.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Judy Shehan.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Reverend Chuck Mullinax officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association
