Rubye Correlle Hawkins, 92, widow of Alonzo Hawkins, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Mooresboro, NC.

Born May 25, 1929 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Robbins and Mary Elizabeth Gilbert Robbins. She was a retired cloth inspector from Reeves Brothers Mill and a member of Alverson Grove Baptist Church and Order of The Eastern Star.

Surviving is her daughter, Joyce O. Stacey (Johnny) of Mooresboro, NC.; sons, Fred Powers (Pat) of Tennessee, Grady Powers of Edgefield, SC.; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Robert Miller and Rev. John Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.
