Roy Edward Towe, 77, husband of Joyce Lunceford Towe went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born December 29, 1945 in Oconee County, SC., he was a son of the late J.C. “Jake” Towe and Isabelle “Belle” Bryant Towe. He was employed by Arrow Automotive for 20 years and then Insulfab Plastics for 15 years and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his devoted wife of 59 years, are his children, son; Duane Edward Towe (Kim), daughter; Kim Bailey; brother, William Towe; sisters, Kay Pearson, Cheri Flournoy; grandchildren, Elizabeth Bradey (Jonathan), Ashlie Phillips (John), Layne Bailey (Kat), Jaime Towe (Kim), Brandon Harris (Jordan); 7 great-grandchildren and his beloved cat Ruby.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother; Pete Towe, sister; Patricia Cornwell and a great-granddaughter, Abby Towe-Pierce.

The family wishes to give a special thank you to Agape Hospice nurse Kimberly and Chaplain Wes for all their love and care for Mr. Towe.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2023 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
