Ronald “Ron” Gosnell, 72, husband of Peggy Hughey Gosnell, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, August 2, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. 

Born May 30, 1952 in Madison, NC., he was a son of the late Luna Gosnell and Betty Norton Gosnell of Madison, NC. He was the owner of Cherokee Pest Control, proudly served our Country in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of The Chesnee Masonic Lodge #294 and Buck Creek Baptist Church. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, James Hiott (Michelle) of Moncks Corner, Lee Gosnell (Suzanne) of Moore, Ronnie Gosnell (Jennifer) of Inman; brother, Ross Gosnell of Lynn, NC.; sister, Frances Anders of Tryon, NC.; grandchildren, Megan, Zach, Alex, Zavier, Breanna, Christopher, Michael, Dominic, Anthony, Kandace; great-grandchildren, Nova, Aleisha and Cayde. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Edith Hill, Aileen Moore, Tennie Morgan and Floyd Gosnell. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2024 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Scott Scrimpsher officiating. 

The family would like to give a special Thank You to Spartanburg Regional Hospice for all their love and care to Ron during his illness. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
