Ronald E. Edwards Chesnee, SC Ronald Edmond Edwards. 68, formerly of North Alabama Ave. died Friday, September 1, 2017 at Physical Wellness and Rehab Center in Spartanburg. Born September 29, 1948 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Clifford E. Edwards and Margaret Hall Edwards. Mr. Edwards was retired from Hoechst Celanese and was a member of Chesnee United Methodist Church. Those left to cherish his memory are daughters, Deedi Pruitt and husband Scott of Chesnee, April Edwards of Pacolet; sisters, Loretta Walker and husband Fletcher of Forest City, NC., Libby Johnson and husband Robert of Chesnee; grandchildren, Lexi and Dawson Pruitt, Camden Edwards, Canyon and Kamari Williams. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Chesnee First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Thompson and Dr. Gary Grogan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the church.
