Ronald O’Neil “Ron” Dotson, 49, husband of Tessie McAbee Dotson went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born September 8, 1971 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the Ronnie Gene Dotson and Patricia Sue Glasson Dotson of Spartanburg. He was a truck driver with GOS, a softball director and a member of Una First Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his children, Carmen Dotson and Cameron Dotson both of Spartanburg.

He was predeceased by a brother, Timothy Carl Dotson.

The family receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Whitney Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Rev. Wesley Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Whitney Community Cemetery.
