Robert Lee Skillman

Robert Lee Skillman, 76 years, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, in his Gaffney home with his loving family surrounding him. He was born in Emporium, Pennsylvania, on January 1, 1948, to the late Lee and Rachael Christine Hickok Skillman.  Following graduation from Cameron County High School, he went on to college and secure a bachelor's degree from Williamsport Community College. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Navy having served from 1970-1974 stationed on the USS Laffey, Norfolk, VA. In his working years, he had been a tool and die maker as well as a mechanic.  He was a resident of the Gaffney since 2001.

Survivors include his two sons, Rodney Skillman of Emporium, Pennsylvania, Ronald Skillman (Denise) of Gaffney, South Carolina, two grandchildren, Rachel Skillman of Gaffney and Dillan Skillman of Emporium, Pennsylvania and 1 great-granddaughter, Adelynn Skillman of Emporium, Pennsylvania.

At his request, there are no formal funeral services planned.
