Ricky L Harris Chesnee, SC Ricky Lee Harris, 57, widower of Mary Virginia “Jennie” Wood Harris of 1570 Henderson Road died Wednesday June 7, 2017at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Saluda, NC. Born February 14, 1960 in Spartanburg, he was a son of Vivian Hamrick Harris Wilson of Chesnee and the late Willie Harris. He was a member of Brooklyn Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory are sons, Ricky Harris Jr. and Willie Harris both of Chesnee; sisters, Rita Pruitt and husband John of Chesnee, Barbara Wiley and husband Randy of Chesnee; brothers, Thomas “Dooley” Harris and wife Darlene of Chesnee and Mitchell Harris and wife Marie of Chesnee; grandchildren, Colby, Alexis and Jadyn Harris. He was also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The Harris family will greet relatives and friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Brooklyn Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Collins and Rev. Robert Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
