Ricky Kim Blackwell

Ricky "Kim" Blackwell, Sr., 66 years, passed away in his Chesnee home on Thursday, May 9, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Kim was born on April 22, 1953, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, to Bobby Eugene and Dorothy Faye Tate Blackwell. Kim was employed 35 years with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Spartanburg where he was a mixer operator. He was also a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Gaffney. Kim is survived by his son; Ricky Kim Blackwell, Jr, of Chesnee, brother, Bobby Blackwell of Chesnee, sisters, Belinda Thomas of Chesnee, Joy Lynn Blackwell of Spartanburg, and former wife; Evelyn Reich of Chesnee. Friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Monday, May 13, 2019, 1:00 o'clock p.m., in Springhill Memorial Gardens. Interment to follow directly after the service.
