Richard Dwayne Barron, 76, widower of Wilma Ann Hames Barron, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at his home.

Born February 18, 1945 in Booneville, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Travis Barron and Colleen Barron. He was a retired Trucker for Overnight and Liquid Air and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is his daughter Elizabeth Lytle and husband Dennis of Mooresboro; sons, Rickey Barron and long-time companion, Rhonda Carlock of Gaffney; Tony Barron and wife Leslie of Gaffney; grandchildren, Breanna Lytle, Lindsey Dills and Hayden Ledbetter and husband Eli.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Barron.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Hicks Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Robbins officiating.
