Sr. Ricardo Lopez-Arizmendi, 72 years, husband of Maria Maldonado Lopez passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Ricardo was born on April 3, 1950, in Tilancingo, Moreles, Mexico, to the late Francisco Lopez and Daria Arizmendi Rosas. For the past 16 years, he called Spartanburg his home. During that time he worked along side his daughter with her food truck service. He was a member of Jesus, Our Risen Savior Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; Maria of Spartanburg, Sons; Enrique Lopez, Carlos Lopez, Felipe Lopez all of Spartanburg, Ricardo Lopez of Houston, Texas, daughters; Marina Lopez and Patricia Lopez both of Houston, Texas, Juana Lopez, Magdalena Lopez and Marisol Lopez all of Spartanburg, 5 brothers, 5 sisters, 32 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family invites friends for visitation on Thursday, July 28th, 2022, 2:00-3:45 pm, at Jesus Our Risen Savior, 2575 Reidville, Road, Spartanburg, 29301. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning promptly at 4:00 pm with Father Rafael Padron officiating. Interment will follow Mass at Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Road, Moore.
