Ralph Eugene Ramsey

Ralph E. Ramsey Chesnee, SC. Ralph Eugene Ramsey. 66, widower of Sandra Kay Hipp Ramsey, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 7, 1951 in Cherokee County, he was a son of the late William Paul Ramsey and Irene Price Ramsey. He was retired from Mason Enterprises and Spartan Mills and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Surviving is his son, Billy Ramsey and wife Angie of Union; step-sons, Tony Parris and wife Anna of Goldsboro, NC., Toby Duckett of NJ.; sister, Rita St. Aubin of Chesnee; brothers, Paul Lee Ramsey and wife Brenda of Rutherfordton, Jimmy Ramsey and wife Barbara of Lake City, Randy Ramsey and wife Chris of Pauline; grandchildren, Lauren Duckett, Courtney Duckett, Kaylin Ramsey, Ashley Davis, Taylor Hames, Daniel Chapman; great-grandchildren, Jacoby Chapman, Ashlynn Davis, Kailynne Hames, Aiden Chapman and close friends, Teresa Simmons, Joycie Gagnon and Amanda Hitt. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2018 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Larry Fleming and Rev. Harold King officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service Sunday at the mortuary. The family is at 1009 Dillon St. Chesnee, SC.
