Polly A. Wilkins Spartanburg, SC Polly A. Wilkins, 93, of Glennwood Hills Drive widow of Ralph “Bub” Wilkins Jr. died Sunday, September 18, 2017 at her home. Born January 9, 1924 in Gaffney, she was a daughter of the late Fred W. Parker and Belle Phillips Parker. Mrs. Wilkins was the owner of Polly’s Cake Shop and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Cowpens. Surviving is her daughter Polly Ann Giles and husband Larry of Spartanburg; special friend, Charles Elmond Sams of Spartanburg; sister, Maxine Parker Nations of Gastonia; grandchildren, Larry Wayne Giles Jr. of Spartanburg, Leatha Giles Day and husband Bret of Chesnee; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Ashely, Randi and Melissa Giles, Jacob and Colin Day and great-great-grandchildren, Luke and Cade Giles. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday September 21, 2017 at Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Major officiating. Burial will follow in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at the church.
