Polly Sherbert

Polly Sherbert Cowpens, SC Paula “Polly” Carter Sherbert, 56, of 180 S. Linda Street, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday May 25,2017 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 31, 1960 in Cowpens, she was the daughter of Mary Alice Carter of Cowpens and the late Norris Wynn Carter. Mrs. Sherbert was a retired Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Spartanburg Medical Center and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to her mother are daughters, Amanda Sherbert of Mayo, Tonya Reid (Jon) of Spartanburg, Theresa Jolly (J.R.) of Cowpens; brothers, Bud Carter (Ginger) of Spartanburg, Ryan Carter (Teresa) of Cowpens; grandchildren, Trevor Sherbert, Mattie and Charlie Reid and Hunter and Carter Jolly and her best friend Lynn Nodine of Boiling Springs. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Wynn Carter. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00p.m. Sunday May 28, 2017 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary A graveside service will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
