Paul Thomann, 90, husband 63 years to Corrie Poteat Thomann passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born March 5, 1932 in Thurgau Erlen, Switzerland, he was a son of the late Ernst Thomann and Anna Marie Fontana Thomann. He was retired after 47 years with Rieter Corporation and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his brother, Peter Thomann (Debbie); sister, Irma Furter of Switzerland; niece Eva Oetzel; nephew, Urs Futer and many other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Ty Childers, Rev. Gary Pruitt, and Rev. Paul Poteat officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 1551 Bryant Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29303, Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of ones choice.
