Patricia "Pat" Ryan

Patricia Ryan, 92 years, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, North Carolina. Pat was born on March 18, 1928, in Dublin, Ireland, to Joseph and Celia O'Donnell Ryan. After making her way to the United States, she furthered her education and for a good 30 years was a physical education instructor in the school system. Pat is survived by her brother, George Ryan of Burlington, Ontario, Canada, twin-sister, Joan Cloonan of Dublin, Ireland and many loving nieces and nephews. She also leaves to mourn her passing close and dear friends, John and Mildred Roche of Spartanburg and their children, as well as Sharon Alexander of Hendersonville, Steve and Marie King of Tryon and Elise Shartsis of Upstate New York. A Mass of the Resurrection celebrating Pat's life will be held Friday, July 10, 2020, at 11:00 AM, in the historic St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow Friday's Mass at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. All arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Harris Nadeau Mortuary, 864-461-7788.
