Norris J. Davis

Norris Jerry Davis, 81, husband of Glennis Cash Davis, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025, and is now in the arms of Jesus.

Born in Cleveland County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Oliver Dean and Cora Lee Ervin Davis. He worked hard throughout his life and retired from Nestle as a lead person in maintenance and most recently from Mopar in parts delivery. Norris enjoyed playing golf, working in his yard, watching westerns and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved their PawPaw dearly.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Dale Davis, Loretta Davis, Joe Davis (Kristy), Wendy Mabry (Mike), Susanne Grubbs (Earl) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Dean Davis, Robert Davis, Cathy Walker and Sarah Knight. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Davis, his brothers, A.V. Davis, Ralph Davis and Everett Davis and sisters, Ethel Freeman, Elsie McAllister, Lillian Smith and Aileen Glenn.

As per his wishes there will be no formal funeral services.

Norris will be dearly missed by all who know and loved him.

The family is at the home.
