Norma J. White

Norma Jean Long White, 89, widow of George Leroy White, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born April 28, 1928 in Gaffney, she was a daughter of the late Claude B. Long and Pauline Fowler Long. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blacksburg.
Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Terry of Inman; grandchildren, Rachel Easler, Mike Terry, Danny White, Melissa Cowick; great-grandchildren, Dylan Easler, Amber Easler, Brittany White, Chastity White, Jeremy White, Amber White, Ray Cowick, David Cowick, William Conwick; step-great-grandchildren, Dylan Owen and Chase Owen.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Danny Leroy White; daughter, Brenda Jean White, one brother and three sisters.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Wayne Turner and Rev. Joey Mills officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday, prior to the service at the mortuary
The family is at the home of Brian and Rachel Easler, 240 Foster Road, Inman, SC.
