Mitchell Hayward “Mickey” Bailey, 73, passed away February 16, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

He was the son of the late William “Bill” Bailey” and Thelma Pitman Bailey Byrd and the husband of Lisa Nichols Bailey and served our country in the U.S. Army.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three sons, Michael Bailey (Cherie), T.C. Bailey, Billy Bailey; one daughter, Brittney Smalley (Brad); one sister; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, two brothers and one grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary, Chesnee, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
