Michele Zito McKinney, 70 years, widow of Robert C. McKinney (2020), passed away the morning of October 9, 2023, at Spartanaburg Regional Hospice home after a prolonged illness. She was born in Clifton, New Jersey, on July 23, 1953, to the late William J. and Nellie Dimsdale Zito. She was educated in Clifton and was a graduate of Clifton High School. She was employed 20 years with Spartanburg Ballet where she did a number of things.

Survivors include her son, Matthew Geoffrey McKinney of Spartanburg, bother, Bill Zito of Las Vegas, Nevada and sister Beverly Ann Martin (Steve) of Creedmoor, North Carolina.

At her request, there are no formal services planned.
