Mason Joseph Hall, 15 years, passed away the morning of Saturday, September 9, 2023, at his home in Gaffney, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 11, 2007, in Spartanburg, to Angela Christene Henry Waters. Mason was home schooled and was a huge Star Wars fan. When able, he attended Liberty United Methodist Church in Spartanburg.

Survivors include his mother and father, Angela and Daniel Waters of Gaffney, brother, Daniel Waters, III, of Tennessee, brother, Chase Ellis of Gaffney, sisters, Mariah Johnson of Gaffney, Shanna Bowers (Caleb) of Inman, maternal grandmother’s Dava Arauz (Eric) of Gaffney, Jennifer McKinney of Gaffney, great-grandfather Neil Coleman of Virginia Beach, maternal great-grandparents, Phyllis and Ward Cossano of Gaffney, great grandmother, Dolores Faulkner, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1215-1:00 pm on Saturday, September 16, 2021. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, 1:00 pm in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with the Reverend’s Andrew Wolfe and Mason Cantey officiating. Inurnment will be private. The family will be at their home in Gaffney.
