Mary Walker Mahaffey

Mary W. Mahaffey Chesnee, SC. Mary Walker Mahaffey, 83, widow of Eugene Mahaffey passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Regional Hospice Home. Born August 10, 1936 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Clark Walker and Nellie Humphries Walker. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a homemaker. Surviving are daughters, Barbara Hames and husband Jeff of Chesnee, Bonnie Hughes and husband Mark of Wellford; brother, John Walker of Tennessee; grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathan and Nathan Hames, Brandon Smith, Zachary and Seth Hughes. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Dale Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
