Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Suddeth, 49 years, passed away Tuesday morning, November 2, 2021, at Cleveland Medical Center in Shelby, North Carolina. Beth was born on February 29, 1972, in Cherokee County, to John Thomas Hayes, Sr., and the late Ellen Kay Champion. She was an assembler for a number of years employed with Eaton Automotive.
Survivors include her son; Joshua Dakoda Suddeth of Rutherfordton, father, John Thomas Hayes, Sr., of Chesnee, brother; John Thomas Hayes, Jr. (Angel) of Chesnee, and sisters; Donna Beach of Rutherfordton and Carrie Hayes of Chesnee.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 6, 2021, 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private.
