Martha Mae “Mott” McSwain, 61, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Regional Hospice Home.

Born June 9, 1961 in Spartanburg, SC., she was the daughter of the late George Albert McSwain and Maggie Aldridge McSwain.

Surviving is her daughter, Beronica Mae Kirby of Gaffney; sons, Robbie Dillon Kirby and Chad Eric Franklin Kirby both of Chesnee; brother, Guy Albert McSwain of Chesnee; grandchildren, Lexus Mae Kirby, Selena Dianne Tavernia, Dawson Kirby and Aliyah Kirby.; great-grandchild, Adalynn Mae Moore

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Cecil Glen McSwain.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Alverson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Culbertson officiating.

The family is at the home of her daughter, 1514 Buck Shoals Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.
