Martha Flecia Swofford McCraw, 73 went home to be with the Lord and her family on the afternoon of Thursday October 14, 2021.

Born on October 27, 1947. Flecia was the widow of Julian D. McCraw and the daughter of the late William Bryson Swofford (Mutt) and Melvina Newton Swofford (Millie). She was a member of State Line Baptist Chruch.

Flecia is survived by her son Randall McCraw(Michelle) of Gaffney and her daughter Amanda McCraw of the home.

Also surviving are three grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Brittany Nave, Jacob McCraw both of Gaffney and Justin McCraw of the home.

Flecia was predeceased by three brothers Gene, Ronnie, and Randy Swofford and one sister Patsy Gail Spencer who was her best friend.

She was known by several names: Maw-Maw, mom, and Floss. Flecia enjoyed spoiling her grandbabies, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, doing crossword puzzles, playing Bingo, watching soap operas, and Hallmark movies.

She worked her entire life as a cloth inspector at various mills. Her favorites were Reeves Brothers in Chesnee where she was employed for 13 years. She was last employed by Musgrove Mills in Gaffney, where she later retired.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday October 20, 2021 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary in Chesnee, SC. Burial will be at State Line Baptist Chruch Cemetery beside her beloved husband of 50 years. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:50 p.m. prior to the service. Rev. Bryan Ezell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
