Marilyn E. Rogers, 82, widow of Floyd Rogers, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 10, 2024 at her home.
Born January 27, 1942 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Ray Leonard Hamrick and Annie Mae White Hamrick. She was retired from United Cloth and a member of Riverside Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving is her daughter, Jennifer Wilcox Hawkins of Inman; son, Randy Wilcox of Inman; sisters, Vivian Wilson of Chesnee, Gladys Quinn of Chesnee, Frances Smith of Inman; brothers, Ray L. Hamrick of Dallas, NC, Jerry Hamrick of Lyman, Hoyt Hamrick of Chesnee, Donald Hamrick of Chesnee; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Doris Wilcox; sister, Gloria Jean Hamrick; brother, Danny Hamrick; grandson Raymond Wilcox and a great-great-grandson, Henry Atkins.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Riverside Free Will Baptist Church, 12045 Highway 9, Campobello, SC 29322 with Reverend Trent Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Pallbearers will be, Christian Moody, William Moody, Bryan Gee, Pee Wee Wilson, Christopher Hibbitts and Hector Gonzalez.
