Marilyn J. Williams Martin “Ma”, 83, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 15, 2024 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born February 18, 1941 in Gaffney, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt Williams and Winnie Millie Parris Williams. She was a Cosmologist by trade and in her later years worked in Food Service. She was a member of Chesnee First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Tessa Swofford of Gaffney, Lisa Gregory (Mike) of Raleigh, NC., Leslie Collins (Terry) of Chesnee; sister, Vicki Bishop Duncan of Gaffney; brother, Billy Roger 
 “Tootsie” Williams of Gaffney; grandchildren, Brandon Swofford (Erica), Stacey Swofford, Brantley Swofford (Tyler Smith), Michael Gregory (Kate), Costin Gregory, Grayson Gregory, Terrell Collins (Tina), Betsey Scruggs (Jeffrey); great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Swofford, Bryson Swofford, Angel Swofford, Shepherd Charles Gregory, Peyton Collins, Collyn Scruggs and Analyse Scruggs.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Barbara Teddards, Jackie Ellis, Deloris Mathis, a brother, Jimmy Williams and a son-in-law, Randy Swofford. 

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Springhill Memorial Gardens with Dr. Gary J. Grogan and Rev. Kris Showen officiating. The family will speak with friends following the service at the graveside.
