Manuel Jesus Garnica-Togra, 50, of Chesnee, husband of Patricia Elena Bueno-Garnica, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center after a prolonged illness. Manuel was born in the country of Ecuador, on June 1, 1967, to Manuel Jesus Garnica and Mercedes Imelda Togra. Manuel was employed by Epsilon Plastics in Spartanburg where he was a packager. He is survived by a sister, Aurora Garnica of Ecuador as well as his children.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, August 13, 2018, 10:30 a.m., at The Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior, with Reverend Edgardo Enverga, C.R.M., Pastor, officiating. Following the funeral Mass, Manuel will be flown back to his native Ecuador where he will be laid to rest in his native community, Cementerio Municipale de Paute, Azuay, Ecuador.
Visitation will be Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.
