Louise R. Scruggs Chesnee, SC. Louise Rhinehart Scruggs, 76, widow of Ray Scruggs passed away January 11, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born July 1, 1944 in Spartanburg, SC., she was a daughter of the late Carl Henry Rhinehart and Daisy Estelle Scruggs. She was retired from Hudson International as a Dye Inspector and was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church. She was a beloved friend to many. Surviving is her daughter, Melissa Scruggs Cook of Chesnee; son, Jeffery Scruggs (Deborah) of Chesnee; special sister, Leoma Lee (John) of Boiling Springs; brothers, Raymond G. Rhinehart (Jane) of Boiling Springs, Carroll Rhinehart (Dicksie) of Pacolet, Ronnie Rhinehart (Rachel) of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Jessika Dalton, Katelyn Cook, Carissa Scruggs, Jessica Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Larry Fleming and Rev. Craig Scruggs officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
