Lorin Willard Schumacher

Lorin Willard Schumacher, of Gaffney, SC, passed away August 24th, 2023, after a short illness. Born April 13th 1966 in Naperville, IL, he was the son of  the late Robert Willard Schumacher and Caroline Kelz Schumacher. He was a professional truck driver for over thirty years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, vacation trips to the Outer Banks, and drag racing his 1967 Dodge A100 van, which he built up himself from a road trip van to a high performance vehicle. Surviving him are his wife, Christine Schumacher, sons Calin Schumacher and Derek Schumacher, his mother Caroline Kelz Schumacher, his stepmother Susan Schumacher, his brother Troy Schumacher, his nephew Jonathan Schumacher, niece Jessica Schumacher, and in-laws Ron and Linda Jahr and Roger Buth. Brothers-In-Law, Mike (Lori) and Craig (Debbie) and nephew Joshua Buth and many other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held locally at a later date.
