Lori Jean Valdez

Lori Jean Valdez, 64 years, wife of Mark Castillo Valdez, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, in her Chesnee home after a brief illness. Lori was born on August 6, 1956, in Torrance, California, to John Abbie and Violet Mae Manley Teague. She was a people's person and while in her working years, she last was employed with Lake Emory Post Acute Care in Inman, South Carolina, where for 6 years, she was assistant to the activities director. She was a resident of Chesnee the past 9.5 years.

Lori is survived by her husband of 14 years, Mark of Chesnee, step-sons; Joe Hedrick of Taylor, Texas, Mark Valdez of Midland, Texas, Austin Valdez of Anderson, South Carolina, step-daughters; Kendra Teague of Montana, Alexis Valdez of Chesnee, brother; Howard (Coleen) Teague of Chesnee, sisters; Patricia (Wayne) Johns of Pacolet, South Carolina and Deborah More of Inman, South Carolina.

At the Lori's request. there are to be private family services.
