Lisa Jean Murphy, 54, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at her home.

Born November 5, 1968 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Betty Meadows Batton and the late Robert Batton and was formerly employed as a Convenient Store Clerk.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her children, Michael Murphy, Amber Murphy and Brittany Akins all of Chesnee; sisters, Emily Evins, Terry Wyatt and Ashley Gante-Espinoza all of Chesnee; brothers, Robert A. Batton, David Earl Tucker, Billy Wayne Tucker, Walter Lundy and grandchildren, Meagen Murphy, Annalisa Bradburn, Aubree Bradburn, Jayce Riley and Makayla Riley.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Mr. Asencion Ocampo-Rios and Mr. Lorenzo Ocampo-Rios officiating.
