Linda Carol Shults, born on March 15, 1951, in Shelby, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life on January 12, 2025, at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She leaves behind a cherished legacy and memories that will forever resonate within the hearts of her family and friends.
Linda had a rewarding career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), dedicating her life to caring for others with compassion and kindness. Her contributions in that capacity will be remembered fondly by those who were fortunate enough to receive her care.
As a proud member of Hillview Church of God in Landrum, South Carolina, Linda found immense joy and fulfillment in her faith and church community. She was deeply involved in the activities of her church, where she formed lasting relationships and shared her love for God with others.
Linda is survived by her beloved family, including her son, Earl Brannon, and her daughter, Dottie Brannon. She is also mourned by her brothers, Ben Wyatt and Mike Splawn, as well as her sisters, Faye Chappell and Margaret Campbell. Linda took great pride in being the grandmother to eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren each of whom brought her immense joy and happiness throughout her life.
Family, friends, and the community are invited to join together in a Celebration of Life on January 18, 2025, at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary in Chesnee, South Carolina. The service will commence at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Chad Quinn officiating, providing an opportunity for all to come together and honor Linda's life and legacy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillview Church of God, 650 W Finger St, Landrum, SC 29356 or to a charity of ones choice.
Linda Carol Shults will be remembered not just for her accomplishments but for the love and kindness she shared with everyone around her. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her.
