Linda Gayle Bowen Anderson, 79, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Magnolia Manor of Inman.

Born, July 4, 1943 in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow Bowen and Vera Edith Scruggs Bowen She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and attended services at Magnolia Manon.

Surviving is her son, James “Jamie” Adair and wife Lisa of Mooresboro, NC.; sister, Lula Bowen Yelton of Cowpens; brothers, Bobby Bowen of Belton, Rev. Ricky Bowen of Asheville, NC.; grandchildren, Brandon Adair, Nathan Adair and wife Melissa, Taylor Adair; great-grandchildren, Amerisa, Trevor and Braiden.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Harold Bowen.

A memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Love Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Love Springs Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 562 Sunny Slope Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.
