Leonard “Hugh” Bishop, 87, husband of Virginia Annette Cudd Bishop, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Upstate Community Hospice Home in Landrum, SC.

Born October 8, 1935 in Cooley Springs, SC., he was a son of the late Leroy Bishop and Nanny Mills Bishop. He was retired from Tex Mach Inc. and attended Sandy Springs First Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Luann Ball (Jim) of Green Creek, NC, Donna Bearden (Randy) of Pauline, SC.; brother, Calvin Bishop (Margo) of Chesnee, SC. and a granddaughter, Hollyann Bearden of Pauline.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4251 Chesnee Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139 with Rev. Terrell Dillingham officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the gravesite.
