Kenneth Elmer Hutchins, 77, husband of Betty Ridings Hutchins, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Regional Hospice Home.

Born December 8, 1945 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Roy Hutchins and Velma Heatherington Hutchins. He was a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College and attended Wofford College and was retired from American Fast Print. Ken enjoyed fishing, golf, gardening and his dogs.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Julie Mobley of Columbia, Joy Gosnell of League City Texas; sister, Joyce Souther of Campobello; step-son, Ricky Lawter and wife Melissa of Chesnee; grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell, Maddie, Callie, Zoie, Phoenix, Tabitha and Tiffany.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a step-son, Billy Joe Lawter.

A private graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
