Karen Fay Miller, 61, wife of Charles “Eddie” Miller, passed away the afternoon of Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Karen was born on March 18, 1960, in the state of Delaware, to the late William Carol “Gabby” Lane and Frances Kincaid Lane. She was a resident of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, the past 1.5 years and formerly of Beckley, West Virginia.
Karen was a 1978 graduate of Meadow Bridge High School, Meadow Bridge, WV. In her working years, she was an accounts payable clerk employed with Summersville Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and had received her 20 year pin for being a Home Interior Decorating Advisor. She attended New Life Baptist Fellowship and was of the Christian faith having formerly attended Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church Crab Orchard, West Virginia. Karen’s biggest joy was spending time with her grandsons. Karen was always known for her loving and giving spirit. If you knew her, you loved her. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Charles “Eddie” Miller of Boiling Springs, SC; daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Steve Moore of Boiling Springs, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Meredith Miller of Boiling Springs, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Martha Lane of Scott Depot, WV; Six grandsons, Hayden, Brody, Samson, Titus, Bennett and Bishop, as well as nieces and nephews and an extended family and friends that loved her dearly.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 3:00 pm at The Fox Cemetery on Crickmer Road, Danese, West Virginia with Pastor Chase Whitten officiating.
