Joey Humphries Mayo, SC Bobby Joe “Joey” Humphries Jr. 50, husband of Jennifer Managuelod Humphries of 590 Mayo Road went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born June 12, 1967 in Spartanburg, he was the son of Bobby Joe Humphries Sr. and Gail Watt Humphries of Mayo He was a former employee of Bic and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife and parents, those left to cherish his memory are sisters, Tina Byars and husband Timmy of Mayo, Mandy Oliver and husband Steven of Campobello; mother-in law, Didang Fokno of the Philippines; special friend Joel Meeks; four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and 11 nieces and nephews. The Humphries family will greet relatives and friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2017 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Southside Baptist Church in Chesnee with Rev. Glenn Rusher and Rev. Tommy Watt officiating.
